from Professor Norman, Victoria, Australia - July 2002 Timeshare exchange
We write to place on record our opinion that Trewince Manor is a most outstanding facility. As husband and wife accompanied by a 27 year-old daughter, we spent a most pleasurable week there in June/July 2002. (If even more of our family of four mature-aged children and a daughter-in-law had been able to join us in Cornwall we should also have been very comfortable in our lodge, such were its facilities.)
We selected Trewince on the basis of our own research. It was one of but two resorts in England that met the conditions of providing the same high standards of facilities, space, equipment and environmental setting that is offered by our primary resort at Port Macquarie in Australia (some 900 miles from our principal residence in Melbourne, Australia). We were not disappointed.
While we are economists by training and profession, we are also property developers, owners, renovators and designers, in England and Australia. We put Trewince thoroughly under the microscope. Its design and finishing was excellent. After a week's close scrutiny our only disagreement came with the placement of a light in the hallway.
We found the location, facilities and setting of Trewince ideal and believe it would remain as such for people with a wide range of interests that span walking, visiting gardens and attractions in Cornwall, or simply resting. Its commanding views of coastline, farms and shipping conjoin with the feeling that you are part of a gracious establishment - the Manor itself, still represented by the family feel of the 1750 building and the warm welcome and personal attention that comes from the owners, Peter and Liz.
This opinion is spontaneous
and independent. We should be most pleased to support or elaborate it on the
instance of any enquiry.
